MOFFETT FIELD, Calif. — Singularity University (SU) is bringing together over 500 global leaders in technology and healthcare for its sixth annual Exponential Medicine Conference October 8-11, 2016 at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, California. The conference will explore the cutting edge of and implications for trends and technologies that are reshaping the way we approach prevention, diagnostics, therapy, global health and beyond.

Exponential Medicine is a widely acclaimed interactive four-day program for clinicians, scientists, technologists, healthcare executives, innovators, and investors, interested in exploring the impact and opportunities presented by disruptive technologies in the fields of health and biomedicine. Sangeeta Bhatia, MD PhD. professor of Multiscale Regenerative Technologies at MIT and biotech entrepreneur, will share insights on how miniaturization tools from the world of semiconductor manufacturing can impact human health
Peter Diamandis, MD and cofounder and executive chair of SU and XPRIZE Foundation, will discuss bold innovation in the face of strict regulations and high barriers to entry
Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, will discuss the allocation of the $17 billion spent on healthcare startups in the past 30 months as well as where he foresees future investments being targeted
The Innovation Lab will provide attendees with hands-on technology demos from 55 startups pushing the boundaries of medicine, 20 of which are competing for a MEDy, an award given to the companies most exemplifies medical entrepreneurship and disruption.
